I'm working on a new blog and website as well, so I'm saving current work for that.  I find Facebook to be a little more interactive at the moment compared to my blog. 

However, here is a recent image of my daughter that I love. . .she is now 6 months old!  Wow!

Thanks for your patience these last few weeks while blog posts have been delayed.  Our sweet daughter Sullyvan has been ill and we've been in and out of doctor's offices including an 8 night stay at Hershey Medical.  We're home now and trying to get better; I'll resume some sort-of normalcy as soon as I can.  Do feel free to continue to send your inquiries for Central Pennsylvania Portrait Photography and Central PA Wedding Photography to ckphotog@gmail.com.

Blog posts are a bit delayed right now as Brian and I just had our first human baby on November 4th.  I still have some to post. . .soon when I have a minute; but right now, Sullyvan Hayes is getting a lot of my attention!  :)  We love her to pieces, and the fur babies do too!!!  We've already capturd hundreds of photos and going through them I already see how much she is growing in her mere two weeks. 

So excited to work with this bride and her family again and to get to know the groom and his family!  I loved the vibrant colors they chose.  Danielle also designed a lot of the reception stationery herself; she's a talented bride with an eye for detail.

  ** As most people know, many weddings are planned months in advance, which means many of my clients booked me before I was pregnant.  So, when I found out I was going to be almost 36 weeks pregnant for this wedding as well as for Tiffany & Tyler's wedding the following week (see them on Facebook, blog post soon), I decided I should ask my fellow photographer and friend, Melissa Teal, to see if she was available if I all of a sudden found myself unable to work at the end of my pregnancy.  You just never know how a pregnancy is going to go, or when the baby will decide to join the party. ;)  It was also important to me that my clients never felt abandoned or that they could become abandoned if I became unavailable.   As it turns out, I was still able to photograph both weddings and had an absolute blast doing so.  Brian and I agreed it would still be great to have Melissa come along with us and share her talent.

We had to reschedule twice due to all of the crazy rain we were having, but when we finally met for the session, we had a truly lovely evening!

I've been posting on my Facebook page and realized I haven't posted some of these lovely weddings and portraits. . .hope to get caught up before Baby K arrives which could be any day now.  :)
