Just one sweet moment from yesterday's session!

I actually captured these dog photographs about a month ago.  However, I wanted to wait until the intended gift recipient received his completed album before blogging them.  It's been a challenge though; look how cute these doggies are! ;) 

I think Bonnie & Jack had a lot of fun at their dog photography session.  This was just before the first blizzard of 2010 here in Central PA.  It was just flurrying and cold on this day, but the doggies didn't mind.

Dog Files:

Jack (Jackson) = A Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who loves spending time with his humans and snuggling on the couch.  Fears, the camera!  Yep, I was warned that he's not always keen on having his photograph captured.  We made the session mostly about having fun, so he did a great job with the camera!!

Bonnie = A Yellow Lab with boundless amounts of energy.  She loves her ball, hiking, and swimming.  She was trained for The Susquehanna Service Dogs but had just a little too much energy so she was adopted by Sue and Eric.

Sue called me with a super sweet message yesterday.  She wanted to tell me that her husband said the album of their dogs was one of the best gifts he's ever received.  A great big thank you to Sue who wanted to do this for her husband Eric, not because it was any special day or holiday, but just because.  Yeah, Sue's pretty awesome!

A lot has been going on behind the scenes here.  I thought it might be fun to give my blog readers a little teaser of what I have been up to recently.

Welcome to a glimpse of my revamped office!  A lot of sweat and time went into making over this little room.  We had a very, very tiny budget which meant a lot of time looking for specials, yard sale finds, sales, and of course doing all of the labor ourselves.  Thanks Jeanette, Curt, and Dean for all of your efforts with the new floor!  I think the time and effort were worth it for my awesome clients!

Deciding on the displays was terribly difficult!  You'll have to visit in person to see what I decided upon for the walls and frames.

Colleen and Carlo's album arrived just in time for them to be able to share it with their families over the holiday weekend.  Before Collen picked it up, I snagged a few photos of it.  I love receiving albums I'm guessing almost as much as my clients do, but of course, I don't get to keep them.  So, I use my photographs to share my products via this blog, but also so I can remember all of the albums I personally create for my clients.  I love the sense of completion I feel when I see an album for the first time. ;)

For as long as I can remember, I have always been mesmerized by trees.  I just wanted to share a few photographs of some I took at the end of February.  There is something special about these trees though, can you tell what it is?
