Greetings & Salutations! Welcome to my new blog. I'm a photographer based out of Camp Hill, PA but my adventures and exploration take me beyond Central PA. Feel free to take some time exploring my blog site and the links to my professional websites featuring more portrait and wedding images. My old blog will remain active for now and can be found under my websites button in the menu. Just a few from this fall that I didn't get the chance to blog as they were holiday gifts!

Malissa + Josh - Wedding Photographers in Harrisburg, PA
Remember Malissa and Josh from their sweeties session? Brian and I photographed their lovely wedding over the 4th of July holiday weekend. We started in Elizabethtown for the ceremony before heading to the Colonial Golf and Tennis Club in Harrisburg. We had a blast with Malissa and Josh's lively bridal party and warm and friendly families. I loved the spice color chosen for the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers, and reception decor. I think it reflected the feeling of fun, summer energy perfectly.

Love the next two shots by Brian. . .what great moments he anticipated!

Another great capture by Brian. . .Malissa's sister watching the father/daughter dance. :)

Just a little teaser after a busy weekend of photography in Camp Hill, PA!
Just thought I'd share some quick photos of two separate couples I had the chance to photograph this weekend. One celebrating an engagment, the other celebrating a marriage. Full blog posts to follow; but for now, here are some photos just to set the mood without revealing too much. :)

Memo Session - Family Portrait Session in Camp Hill
What a beautiful weekend it was for some sweet, family portraits. I met up with this adorable family on Saturday to photograph their one year old son. Photographing toddlers is always exciting as sessions are typically pretty free form. These sessions can lead to some spontaneous and downright laughable moments. The highlight of the day for me though was when I received a spontaneous hug from this adorable little guy. Mom told me he just started giving out hugs, I felt so lucky! He was so huggable. . .see for yourself! Although I promised myself I would post fewer images in 2009, I just couldn't do it! ;)
p.s. Mom and Dad did a fantastic job of picking out their outfits! They were perfect for a fun, spring photo session!

I adore this family moment!

A little fun composite accenting his outfit!

Whoopsie daisy! This happens when you are still learning how to walk! :)

But, you just get back up. . .

CK Photography Product Highlight
Colleen and Carlo's album arrived just in time for them to be able to share it with their families over the holiday weekend. Before Collen picked it up, I snagged a few photos of it. I love receiving albums I'm guessing almost as much as my clients do, but of course, I don't get to keep them. So, I use my photographs to share my products via this blog, but also so I can remember all of the albums I personally create for my clients. I love the sense of completion I feel when I see an album for the first time. ;)
Album Stats:
10x10 Leather Album with imprinting. Album has 56 pages and approximately 104 images.

Jama & Tyler's Vow Renewal Ceremony
They met while both still enlisted in the navy. Their original 'I dos' were said while still in their uniforms and away from their loved ones. Time introduces change for everyone; for Jama and Tyler, they now have a sweet-heart of a little one and have moved back to Central PA.
The sparkle in her eyes reveals a lot, don't you agree? Maybe it's the way he makes her laugh, maybe it's the way she looks at him. All I know is that it was amazing to share in the reinstatement of their love for one another. Saturday's ceremony and celebration allowed them the chance to share this experience and their relationship with their closest friends and family members.
Congratulations Jama & Tyler! Enjoy your CarisaK photo teaser.

Photographs of Trees
For as long as I can remember, I have always been mesmerized by trees. I just wanted to share a few photographs of some I took at the end of February. There is something special about these trees though, can you tell what it is?
