Jama & Tyler's Vow Renewal Ceremony
They met while both still enlisted in the navy. Their original 'I dos' were said while still in their uniforms and away from their loved ones. Time introduces change for everyone; for Jama and Tyler, they now have a sweet-heart of a little one and have moved back to Central PA.
The sparkle in her eyes reveals a lot, don't you agree? Maybe it's the way he makes her laugh, maybe it's the way she looks at him. All I know is that it was amazing to share in the reinstatement of their love for one another. Saturday's ceremony and celebration allowed them the chance to share this experience and their relationship with their closest friends and family members.
Congratulations Jama & Tyler! Enjoy your CarisaK photo teaser.

Julia & Matt's Wedding in Harrisburg
What a fantastic, albeit a bit chilly, day it was this past Saturday for a winter wedding in Central PA. This was our last wedding of 2008 and what a festive event it was. It was obvious from the wonderful and intricate details at the cocktail hour and reception held at the Appalachian Brewery that Julia and Matt spent a lot of time contemplating all of the little details. There were so many details that I fell in love with, I do love winter and this time of year! They are also huge cat lovers and have adopted / rescued 4 of their own. Check out their cute favor. . . a donation in each guest's name towards an organization that cares for homeless cats. I say their wedding day was purrrrfect! ;)

The next shot is my angle of Brian's shot (see above) that I snapped while photographing the bride!

I love the above candid moment with the bridesmaids and the next photo is one of my faves!

The bridal party was great about braving it in the cold for a few photos with the B&G. Julia used to work at the capital, so this was very fitting for their photos.

The next one is one of my faves.

Okay, so Julia and Matt thought I was a little crazy for suggesting this, but I think it's quirky and fun!

We hope you two have a blast on your honeymoon and enjoy your CK photo teaser!
Cozette & Jeff's Wedding in Harrisburg
This was our second wedding of last weekend. We had an absolute blast with Cozette and Jeff, and you're about to see why. The bride has 5 gorgeous sisters and everyone in the bridal party (and their families) was just so much fun. The day was full of Lebanese family traditions which we were honored to capture.
We started the day at the bride's parent's house before moving to the ceremony location in Harrisburg. As we made our way over to the Crowne Plaza where their reception took place, we stopped at the Capital for a few mintues just as the light was fading. The sky was a bit ominous, but I think it added some cool drama to the photos.
The reception was crazy fun and still rocking even when we left! I don't normally post this many reception shots, but I just couldn't resist. Congratulations Cozette & Jeff!

Lacing the dress up is serious business. . .it nees to be tied tight enough. . .

but not too tight that the bride can't breathe or sip her wine! ;)

Celebrating started early at the bride's parent's house before the ceremony.

I love the atmosphere of this shot Brian captured during the ceremony.

I think Cozette is a bride who can handle the next shot which Brian and I absolutely adore! Don't you love this moment??!!

Super cute! Cozette & her sisters each had on a different color of shoes. I have a shoe addiction, as my family knows, so I thought this was awesome.

The 6 sisters.

One of the best toasts I've heard!

Jeff is a tall guy, so I can understand his concern here!

I love the next 2 action packed reception shots by Brian. I think they really show how festive and fun the evening was.

The bride's father having a great time!

I really wanted to show the emotion and energy of the night!

The Wedding of Rachele & Jason
On September 20, 2008 Rachele and Jason tied the knot at the Conewago Manor Inn. I actually met this happy couple at Anne & Joey's wedding in January of 2007. Jason and Joey are brothers, and now their family has grown again with the addition of Rachele.
Rachele and Jason ooze love and happiness in a way that must be so deep because it just pours out of them. Their happiness and love was absolutely contagious! When you combine their wonderful personalities + a gorgeous fall day + an amazing location + their trust in me + time to capture fun photos = Carisa had a challenging time narrowing down which photos to blog. Oh, and Brian absolutely rocked his images and our new camera this weekend! That's just another reason to love him, and another reason this blog post is a bit longer. His images are marked with a B.
To Rachele and Jason and their great families, thanks for your thoughtfulness and for allowing us to be a small part of your special day. Enjoy your CarisaK photo teaser.

B's (I love this angle and viewpoint -sneaky Brian)

B's (love his candid of Jason)

I had just a second to grab this shot as we moved to a new location. I don't think Rachele even knew I took it. :)

B's. . .he saw this opportunity earlier and I just think the kaleidoscope effect is freaking awesome. No photoshop here!

Below is the lovely couple and my friends who connected me to Rachele and Jason.

Just look at how they look at one another!

Congrats you two!
