Although they met in Camp Hill, life has carried them all the way to Vegas.  I am so thrilled that they are having their wedding back here next fall which I am excited to capture.  I love photographing sweeties, especially future wedding clients as it is a way for us to get to know one another before the big day. 

We started at a park where Danielle and her sisters used to play when they were little and ended the day with a view of the Susquehanna River.  It was a perfect day weather wise, and I found a fun, new spot to use for photographs which they were more than happy to test out for me.  ;) ;)  Danielle and Bill just seemed so comfortable in front of the camera which made my captures of them easy.  Thanks for trusting me D & B!  Here are just a few of my favorites of the day.

Remember Malissa and Josh from their sweeties session?  Brian and I photographed their lovely wedding over the 4th of July holiday weekend.   We started in Elizabethtown for the ceremony before heading to the Colonial Golf and Tennis Club in Harrisburg.  We had a blast with Malissa and Josh's lively bridal party and warm and friendly families.  I loved the spice color chosen for the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers, and reception decor.   I think it reflected the feeling of fun, summer energy perfectly.

Amy & Michael are an incredibly sweet couple who found me online.  They had a private wedding ceremony for just the two of them in Jamaica in May and then a celebration with their friends and family here in Harrisburg (they currently reside in Philly).  We hit it off immediately, especially after I found out that Michael was a former cross country runner at a rival high school.  Ha!  ;) 

They wanted their celebration to feel like "them" with an emphasis on a fun, casual, and relaxed environment.  Brian and I started with just the bride and groom before their guests arrived so they could enjoy greeting their guests.  I just love when couples opt to do this and that's two weddings in a row for us now!  It just gives the bride and groom some time to relax, not feel rushed, and of course I love concentrating on the relationship between them.  The rest of the day then can be about spending time with your guests with us just capturing candid moments.  What can I say besides it's just a different feel when you know you have the time for photographs and there aren't a 150 people waiting for you.  ;)

It was incredibly hot and humid on June 13th in the Burg!  We did manage to pop outside for a few moments before the rain arrived!  I love the sweet and quirky details that Michael and Amy chose. . .such as having Twinkies and Swiss Cake Rolls for dessert.   Thanks for including us in your special day A & M!
